Together, these three entities bring individual expertise to the table and work as a team to create Honda's reliable, high-performance, attractive products from the design phase through the manufacturing process.

Honda Engineering North America, Inc. (EGA) is an integral part of the global Honda family. We work to turn design concepts into reality by developing, testing and implementing technologically advanced production systems that result in products of the highest quality and value for customers around the world.

From a handful of U.S. and Japanese setting up a branch office in 1985 to over 400 associates today, Honda Engineering North America, Inc. (EGA) is a growing, dynamic company filled with dedicated associates.

EGA is specifically responsible for the research, development and design of manufacturing production technologies and methods, and the engineering, design and manufacture of equipment and tooling used in mass assembly production. Supporting manufacturing plants across North America, EGA works on a wide array of Honda products from cars and SUVs, to motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, water craft, engines and power products.

Our engineering divisions work as teams in an open and inclusive atmosphere to build innovative, high-tech solutions to meet precise performance production needs. The divisions include: Powertrain Equipment and Tooling, Body Equipment and Die and Mold. The Business Administration Division encompasses all operations aspects of the company, including the New Model Center, which coordinates EGA's activities for all of Honda's product development activities in North America. In addition to our facilities in Ohio, EGA has branch offices in Lincoln, Alabama and Alliston, Ontario.
